Timothy M. Downs, DPM, FACFAS

Dr. Downs is the Chief of Podiatric Surgery at Lowell General Hospital. He is Board Certified in Foot Surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is an Alumnus of the Association for the Study of Osteosynthesis (AO-International). Dr. Downs lectures extensively throughout the Merrimack valley on a wide range of topics related to the Lower Extremity. In addition, he is on staff at Saints Memorial Medical Center, Drum Hill Surgery Center, Lowell General Hospital, Anna Jaques Hospital and Merrimack Valley Hospital.

Currently, Dr. Downs, and his family live on the North Shore. He is a former collegiate Rower and has competed internationally. He continues to remain active athletically through his participation in road races, triathlons and recreational rowing on the Merrimack river.
